A Little About Me


After a decade of working in the healthcare field, although I enjoyed my work, it was never my real passion. A few years ago, I decided to take a chance and completely change directions. I went from always relying on an employer to provide a steady paycheck to starting my own small business with all the uncertainties and unknowns. After hustling for the past few years I have grown my small start up venture to a very successful and lucrative six figure business. While I realize there are countless talented women teaching microblading, makeup, beauty school graduates doing hair, skincare, etc. I keep finding something missing.  The how to... The teaching of the art forms is well established but once you acquire the skills, how do you start and run a successful business? The talent is only half of the journey, which is why I created Booked Out Beauty Business. I wanted to share all my insider knowledge to help you grow your successful beauty business into all that you deserve it to be! Let's get to work!





MINDSET
MODULE 01

How you feel about yourself outside of your business, impacts how well you do in your business. In this module, we’ll walk through both personal and professional development tactics to help you scale and grow yourself, and your business. We’ll support you with tactics to approach ongoing education, mentorship, networking, and support, as you navigate furthering your skillset professionally. We’ll cover some tried and true methods to help you conquer your fear, manage your time, and improve your life outside of your business, so you can improve your life inside your business.

WORKFLOW & ORGANIZATION
 MODULE 02.

Your Workflow & Organization in setting up for and communicating with your clients, make for the foundation of your client experience. In this module, we’ll walk you through how to consider every aspect of your client’s experience before, during and after their appointments. We’ll walk through our best tips and tricks for how to create systems to help prepare and organize for each new visit, and technology you can utilize to automate reminders, follow-up appointments, payments and more. As a one-person show, you’ll want to remember that your client’s experience of your business makes or breaks their desire to return. Let’s surprise, delight and wow them so you can do business with total confidence!

MARKETING
MODULE 03

Having a strong understanding of marketing tactics and strategies are crucial to growing your business. In this module, we’ll cover basic marketing funnels and customer activation cycles. We’ll give you an overview of how to get new clients, engage potential clients, and nurture current clients, all utilizing various networking techniques and social media platforms. Our guest expert, Amandina Altomare, owner of Media a La Carte, runs a multi-6 figure business, and has represented acclaimed designers like Christian Siriano and denim wear brand 7 For All Mankind.

BUILD YOUR BRAND
MODULE 04

Branding can seem like it’s all logos, colors and a pretty website.. Guess what? It’s so much more than that. The good news? Your brand is YOU. Your brand is your customer’s experience of your business. Your brand is what your customers would tell their friends about you, your process, their experience and more. In this module, we’ll cover how to dive deep into building a brand that resonates with your target audience, connects your customers, you and your work, how to share your stories to create content that captivates, and even — design your own logo, color palette and website. Our guest expert, Brannan Arnett, is a Certified Brand Strategist & Designer with a background in brand strategy and development, and has helped build over 50 brands. She’ll teach you the basics of building a personal yet business focused brand, and even get into some tips and tricks for how to DIY your logo and website when you’re just starting out.

FINANCIALS
MODULE 05

Financials are an integral part of our business, and most often the part that first-time business owners neglect. In this module, you will learn how to set yourself up for success with foundations that will help you for years to come! We’ll cover how to best budget, as well as save for taxes, future investments, and retirement. You’ll learn how to manage your own bookkeeping, and get some tips for how to choose a bookkeeper for when you’re ready to outsource that task. Our guest expert, Kirsti Dory, is a Bookkeeper & Profit Strategist with an MBA and over 10 years of experience. She sells resources to help you do-it-all-yourself, and empowers you with real-time tips and strategies along the way.
